Irish Brownbread and scones available - amazing! This Bakery is great - the cakes are delishous and the coffee is good. there is also a nice Little garden out the back. The homemade Irish Brown bread is delish! and the scones are also good too (butter and jam are not included however), apparently the own has irish roots and makes the bread from his traditional Family recipie
Very nice, very cosy, authentic, friendly, great sweets! Loved it!
Better than the Metropole! Right on the plaza in old Geneva, a block from the water. Don't expect lake views, but people watching down on the plaza is interesting. Cigogne is a charming, boutique hotel, with beautifully quirky interiors throughout the lobby and rooms. They offer free continental breakfast, optionally served in your room. Restaurant is first class and would be worth going just for dinner, even if you weren't staying at the hotel!
Was there for brunch. They didn’t want to make a sunny side up egg for me... however they did make domething similar for a friend of mine at my table. Not really 5 star standard I would say. Cannot recommend the place.
Top of the line hotel. We had a company event for the weekend and they catered to everything well including our Gala in a separate location. Great view of the lake from the rooms and poolside.
Superb small museum drawing from a very significant collection. The current exhibition (6,000 Years of Receptacles) shows diverse pieces of great energy and charm.
Focused, concise boutique museum. I can't give a 5th ⭐️ because there were no English descriptions in the gallery and the (free) Wi-Fi didn't extend to the basement to allow web translation. I became a member and look forward to many further galleries when in Genève.
Excellent little space, though I think I may have missed some more on another floor due to being on my own and having a sad teething baby. Definitely worth looking at as it’s beautifully presented. I read that the layout was a little chaotic but it really wasn’t, once you got the idea of the sections, such as writing and musical instruments etc it’s quite easy to follow. Although to be honest it’s just beautiful to wander amongst
